On June 1, 202, the Pleasant Hill City Council adopted Resolution No. 41-20 to consolidate the Municipal Election to be held on November 3, 2020 with the General Election conducted on the same date. Pleasant Hill voters will elect three City Councilmembers and one City Treasurer. The nomination period will begin at 8:30 am on Monday, July 13, 2020, and end at 1:00 pm on Friday, August 7, 2020. If one of the incumbent officeholders does not file by the August 7th deadline, the nomination period for that vacancy will be extended (for any qualified person other than the incumbent) until 5:00 pm on Wednesday, August 12, 2020.
Nomination Papers can be obtained from the City Clerk’s Office during the nomination period. Due to the changing health orders regarding COVID-19, candidates are asked to make an appointment during the nomination period to “pull papers.” Candidates must be registered voters of Pleasant Hill at the time the Nomination Papers are issued.
